Roscommon Sports Partnership, working with Go for Life are holding a series of workshops for older people who are interested in leading physical activities with members of their groups/clubs/organisations. Participants do not need to have any background or formal experience in leading physical activities. These workshops take place all over the country throughout the year and thousands of older people have participated to date and gone on to lead a wide range of physical activities in their own groups and communities.
The objective of this training is to enable members of your group to carry out a leadership role in the planning and managing of physical activities with your group as Go for Life PALs.
Participants must be able to attend all workshop days. Workshops are free of charge and refreshments will be provided on the day.
